Account & Data Deletion
Last updated June 18, 2026
You can delete your Kriloopaccount and personal data at any time. This page explains how, what gets deleted, and what we’re required to keep. It supports the Privacy Policy.
How to delete your account
- In the app or on the web: Settings → Account → Delete account, and confirm.
- By email: if you can’t access your account, write to privacy@kriloop.com from your registered email and we’ll verify and process it.
What happens when you delete
- Your profile, posts, comments, messages and other personal data are removed or anonymised.
- Active Channel memberships are cancelled and eligible enrolments refunded under the Refund Policy.
- The spendable portion of any unused credit balance is handled as described in the Credits Terms.
- Deletion is permanent — we can’t recover a deleted account.
What we keep, and for how long
We retain the minimum the law requires — chiefly payment and tax records for the period mandated by tax and accounting law — and limited records needed to handle disputes, prevent fraud or meet a legal obligation. These are kept securely and access-restricted, then deleted when no longer required. Content others have already lawfully shared within the service, and aggregated non-identifying data, may remain.
Hosts
If you earn on Kriloop, we may need to complete pending payouts, reverse refunds/chargebacks and finalise tax reporting before fully closing your account — see the Host Terms.
Timeline
We process deletion requests promptly and complete them within the timelines the DPDP Act (and, for EU users, the GDPR) require. You’ll get confirmation when it’s done.
